Lack of focus

Today I am sore and very tired (skiing and DST are to blame mostly).
I am in class - even took my kiddos to a musical over at the University this morning - but I am really dragging.
My thoughts are random and unclear - so rather than fight it..... I am going with it - here are various random tidbits running through my tired mind today:

•I dislike DST.

•I think my husband's new work schedule might kill me - now he gets up at 3:00 am to shower and go to work - which means I awake as well.  Today I was able to go back to sleep - I hope this remains true.

•I have not mentioned it but I LOVE my new "avatar" (is that what they're called) that gets posted with my slices.  He is purple, has one eye and floats.  Much better than the last one which had bat wings.

•I wish I could eat real yogurt.

•I have decided that from now til the end of the year, I will not tolerate the ridiculous immature behavior by most of my 4th grade boys - now there will just be consequences. (Seems harsh, but - not really if you could experience this class.)

•I need to have a big talk with my daughter - I am afraid.

•I want to find time to read more new slicers this year.  Wonder how that will happen?

•I posted my SOL so late yesterday that I got no comments - SIGH.

•I don't seem to notice birds singing any other time but in the spring.
 I'm sure they do - so why don't I?

•Someday I would like to meet - Elsie and Terje!

OK folks - I have to figure out this afternoon's lessons - poor teacher prep on my part!

Quote of the day:  Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem.

  1. I, too, wrote a listing entry today. Wonder what that says about today? Or us? I hate DST. And Monday. But it was a manageable day. Hope yours was too!

  2. It is possible that we will meet one day, even though it may seem impossible because of the distance. You never know what may wait ahead. :)
